5S AND DRAWING COMPETITION HELD AT SARJANI INDUSTRIES (WAGHODIYA GIDC)
A Workers 5S Training was started in November 2019 at Sarjani Industries. The training includes step by step process of implementation of all pillars of 5S Workplace Management. Along with training the workers are guided to implement each steps in their working area. After implementation of each process review is taken and what changes needed to be done were discussed .Risk assessmenet was done at every area to reduce potential of accidents. Drastic Improvement was observed after successful implementation Lean in factory premises. Along with 5S training a drawing competition with the theme of Cleanliness was organized ,in which every employee were supposed to draw a meaningful drawing describing importance of cleanliness. The drawings improved the thinking process of workers to understand the concept of 5S Workplace Management in a broaded sense. In the 2nd Week of February , the employees whose drawings were most expressive and who understand the concept of 5S were awarded with gifts. This boost the confidence of workers to be motivated and along with this implement 5S a productive environment is created in the company. Thus after this process the material management of company increases and productive culture for continuous improvement is created.
